Crafted to fulfill a diverse range of professional sound reinforcement needs, it excels as a standalone full-range speaker, an integral component of a larger configured system, or a stage monitor, thanks to its thoughtful rear wedge design. At its core, the ST-15 incorporates a specially optimized Fane 15” neodymium LF driver with a 3” voice coil, working in harmony with a 1” compression driver and an 80° x 50° low-resonance horn. This harmonious integration is further complemented by a painstakingly developed and optimized passive crossover network. The result is an astonishing level of clarity and faithful audio reproduction even at high output levels, negating the need for extensive DSP correction.
Constructed meticulously, the cabinet boasts a composition of 15mm and 24mm void-free birch plywood, held together by precise tongue and groove assembly to ensure exceptional structural strength. Its exterior is safeguarded by a robust wrap-around black powder-coated steel circular pattern grille, fortified with an acoustic mesh backing to protect the internal components. The unit’s exterior is expertly finished with a matt black, sand-based paint, bolstering its resilience to endure the rigours of touring life.
Thoughtful design extends to user convenience, with two flush side handles, rubber feet, a 35mm ‘top-hat’ pole mount adapter, and 12 M8 mount points incorporating internal metal brackets. These features exemplify the ST-15’s adaptability for various applications. Additionally, ST Series subwoofers seamlessly integrate to extend the system’s bass response as needed.
