The KPS2 is a 12″ two-way full-range loudspeaker system specially designed for sound reinforcement in karaoke lounges and nightclubs.
This two-way system features a 12″ (304.8 mm) woofer with an optimized damping and heat-dissipation ring, along with a 1″ (25.4 mm) JBL 2414H neodymium high-frequency compression driver, delivering powerful music playback and crystal-clear vocals with high fidelity and output capability. The advanced passive crossover network eliminates frequency overlap, allowing subtle vocal details to be reproduced with exceptional clarity. Whether the speaker is installed horizontally or vertically, the 100° × 70° (H × V) horn ensures smooth and even coverage throughout the venue.
The KPS2 features a trapezoidal enclosure constructed from premium 15 mm wood panels. Its internal structure and transducer layout have been refined through multiple rounds of simulation and testing. The system includes multiple high-strength suspension points and an OmniMount socket for flying or pole-mount installation. To protect the system from accidental damage and drink spills, the grille is made from dent-resistant acoustically transparent steel. The sculpted grille edges enhance the speaker’s aesthetics, allowing it to blend naturally into a wide range of room interiors. JBL’s new signature illuminated logo, utilizing PSL (Passive Sound Lighting) technology, lights up continuously when audio signals are present and can be rotated to match different installation orientations.
